What’s one piece of advice you wish you had when you were an undergraduate student?
There are many paths to success. Understand your weaknesses and be realistic about what your present abilities can carry. The future may hold a place for your ambition, but you cannot borrow from the person you hope to become. Depending on tomorrow’s strengths while ignoring today’s shortcomings will only make the climb more difficult. Your greatest tool will always be the effort you invest in yourself. With perseverance, discipline, courage, humility, grit, and a little luck, no dream is too big. Be patient; “Vienna waits for you.”

Define fun and what does that look like to you?
To me, fun is anything new, different, or exciting. It can be a learning opportunity, a chance to discover something about myself or another person, or an opportunity to develop a new skill. On a large scale, fun might mean jumping out of an airplane or swimming with sharks. On a smaller scale, it can be as simple as camping under the stars with my husband and dogs.
