One piece of advice you wish you had as an undergraduate student.

Take care of yourself. College is such an exciting new time and you’re being exposed to so many new opportunities, people, places and experiences all at once and it’s so easy to overstress yourself. Excel in your classes but take breaks; having a work/life balance applies to school too! Spend a few hours studying, and then go on a walk or watch an episode of your favorite show, treat yourself to a meal you love, or spend time with friends. Take some time every day to do something that you enjoy that isn’t necessarily tied to your classes or homework and enjoy your life and the time you have!

Favorite quote.

“All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost.” – J.R.R. Tolkien

Define fun and what does that look like to you?

Fun to me is what makes you feel like you! It doesn’t always have to be something high energy or with a lot of people; it can be curling up and having a movie marathon or listening to a new album from your favorite artist. Fun for me usually looks like being creative in some way or getting lost in between the pages and stories of a good book.
